History talk to encompass big bang to present day The Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning welcomes Union College Professor Mark Walker to discuss big history. The talk will take place on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Hunter Seminar Room at Burr and Burton Academy.

Big history is an exploration of the past from the big bang to the present, dividing the history of the universe, earth, life, and humanity into periods using very large scales of time. This presentation will take us on a quick journey spanning billions of years, helping us to understand our current position in time and space.

Registration for the talk is $18 in advance or $22 at the door. For more information or to register, please call 802-867-0111 or visit greenmtnacademy.org.
