Get your creative, creepy self together and join VAE at 48 Main St. in North Bennington on Thursday, Oct. 31st
. Participants will gather at VAE’s parking lot beginning at 3:30 p.m. while the parade steps off at 4 p.m. All are welcome to join the fun as a marcher or cheer on from the sidelines. Musicians are needed to lead the parade. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
for more musical information.
The parade ends at Lion’s Park where the Norshaft Lions will be on hand selling cider and hotdogs around a village bonfire. This annual tradition has become a local must see as infants to adults break out their Halloween best, showing off major costume making skills to be in the running for one of the many costume awards. Marchers, monsters, artists, musicians, dancers, drummers, jugglers, friends and neighbors of all ages dress up and promenade through town, accompanied by music. A fall favorite for over two decades, this wildly popular event has drawn hundreds of participants and visitors each year.
