SVHC announces Putnam Award winners


BENNINGTON — Southwestern Vermont Health Care has announced the winners of its 2018 Putnam Awards, honoring employees for their service to the organization's mission. One award every year is presented for each of the organization's five core values: quality, empathy, safety, teamwork, and stewardship.

The 2018 Putnam Award Honorees are: Quality, Linda Allard, LPN; empathy, Cameron Herrington, RN; Dr. Richard Guerrero Patient Safety Award, Shannon Luscia; teamwork, Kimberly Hathaway, RN; and stewardship, Jill Burke.

The recipients were honored last month during ceremonies at the Mount Anthony Country Club. Also recognized were those celebrating employment anniversaries. Many were honored for 10, 20, and 30 years of employment with SVHC. Sixteen employees were noted for 40 or more years of service, including Christine Bacon, Jill Bishop, David Brady, Joy Bull, Judy Carpenter, Joyce Caslin, Patricia Cummings, Mary Anne Cushing, Cheryl Jacobs, Gregory Jacobs, Laurie Lachant, Cynthia Long, Marie McAuliffe, Maydene Mort, Roberta Smith, Jane Wright, and Colleen Wyman.
