Snowstorm anticipated Tuesday

MANCHESTER — After a dusting across the Northshire this weekend, a winter weather advisory has been issued for Bennington County beginning at 1 a.m. tomorrow morning and lasting into the evening.

Starting in the early morning hours of Dec. 12 flurries are expected to fall, with an inch of snow accumulation possible. The high on Tuesday is projected to be near 34 degrees in Manchester Center according to the National Weather Service (NWS), with a 90 percent chance of precipitation. According to the NWS, there is a possibility for between four and eight inches of snow throughout the day.

The snow is likely to continue into Tuesday night, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation. The winter weather advisory will remain in effect until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
