BONDVILLE — The Mountain School at Winall held its National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony on June 3. Students were selected to the organization based upon NJHS's five pillars of scholarship, service, leadership, citizenship and courage. Chapter Advisor Kate Pierce, Head of School Peter Ahlfeld and current NJHS members led the induction ceremony and welcomed new members, including Ronin Clark, Dea Burrow, Lily Aldrich, Marytherese Mulkey and Lindsey Treat.
SAXTONS RIVER — Franz of Winhall graduated with Vermont Academy's class of 2019 during the school's 135th commencement on Saturday, May 25. Franz will attend The College of Charleston.
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — Emily Marks of Granville, N.Y., graduated from Hofstra University in May, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing degree.

ALBANY, N.Y. — Reid Conde of Pawlet, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in geography, Magna Cum Laude, from the University at Albany (N.Y.) at their 175th commencement.
Rochester Institute of
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Timothy Grayson of Wallingford earned a Master of Fine Arts in metals and jewelry design in December, 2018, and Angela Krieg of Salem, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration, both from Rochester Institute of Technology at the 134th annual commencement in May.
GRINNELL, IA — Lauren Marie MacKenzie graduated from Grinnell College on May 22. MacKenzie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biological chemistry and classics. Parents are Dr. Glen C. MacKenzie and Dr. Donna M. Miller of Manchester Center, Vt.
LEWISTON, ME — Whitney Hadden of Manchester Village, Vt., graduated after majoring in sociology and minoring in rhetoric at Bates College's 153rd commencement. Hadden is a 2014 graduate of Waterville Valley Academy.
RANDOLPH CENTER — Megan Peters of Landgrove, graduated from the practical nursing program at Vermont Tech this past spring.
DELHI, N.Y. — Emily Leavey of Granville, graduated from the State University of N.Y., Delhi, in May with an associate's degree in Veterinary Science Technology.
LOWELL, Mass. — William Tate of East Dorset, Vt., graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, with a bachelor's degree in economics.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Natalie G. Gaiotti of Danby graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Western New England University at the May 18 commencement.
Alexis D Case of Cambridge, New York, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration in finance from Western New England University at the May 18 commencement.
WORCESTER, Mass. — Curan A. VanDerWielen of Dorset was named to second honors on the Clark University dean's list for the spring 2019 semester. Second honors require a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
MCPHS University School of Pharmacy
BOSTON, Mass. — MCPHS University is pleased to announce that Bridget Egbert of Manchester Center, Vt., was named to the dean's list for the spring semester. She is pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. The dean's list recognizes students with a full-time course load who have achieved outstanding scholarship with a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic term.
Northern Vermont University
MANCHESTER CENTER — Lucie Daley of Manchester Center, a student at Northern Vermont University, was named to the President's List for the spring semester. Students who achieve a 4.00 semester average are placed on the President's List.
GETTYSBURG, PA — Andrew Sullivan of Pawlet, has been placed on the Deans' Commendation List for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester. Students with a quality point average of 3.300 to 3.599 for a semester's work are placed on this list.
GARDEN CITY, N.Y. — Carley Lund of Pawlet, has been named to the Adelphi University spring dean's list. Full-time students registered for 12 or more credits who have completed at least nine graded credits and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above for the semester are named to the dean's list.
University of Rochester
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Max Pagnucco, a junior majoring in audio and music engineering at the University of Rochester, has been named to the dean's list for the spring semester.
A resident of Londonderry and a graduate of Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester, Pagnucco's parents are Peter and Diana Pagnucco..
St. Olaf College
NORTHFIELD, Minn. — Hannah Cabasco of Manchester Center, a music and psychology major, has been named to the spring semester dean's list. The dean's list recognizes students with a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4-point scale.
PURCHASE, N.Y. — Jack Boggan, a theater and performance, history major from Cambridge, and Channa Goldman, a creative writing major from Salem, were named to the dean's list for the spring semester. Students who have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and taken a minimum of 12 credits are named to the list. For BA and BS programs a semester GPA of 3.50 is required. For BFA and MusB programs, a semester GPA of 3.75 is required.
DELHI, N.Y. — The spring semester dean's list at the State University of New York, Delhi, has been announced. Local students receiving the honor are Emily Leavey of Granville, associate degree in veterinary science technology, and Maureen Mackey of Granville, bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management. Recognition of academic achievement is for students who earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the semester.
St. Lawrence University
CANTON, N.Y. — Ursula R. Martin of West Pawlet, has been inducted into the St. Lawrence University chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the national honor society for theater.
Martin, who attended the Long Trail School, is a member of the class of 2020 and is majoring in English and performance and communication arts. To be eligible for membership, students must have completed at least two semesters in theater and performance work with an overall GPA of 3.0 and a GPA of 3.25 or better in the department of Performance Communication Arts.
OSWEGO, N.Y. — Eric Dumas of Shushan, a junior majoring in journalism, has been named to the President's List for the spring semester at the State University of N.Y., Oswego.
Dumas achieved a grade point average above 3.80 on the 4.00 scale.
University of Maine
ORONO, ME — The University of Maine dean's list has been announced for the spring semester. Anna Fischer of Arlington, completed 12 or more credit hours in the semester and earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
LOWELL, MA — William Tate of East Dorset, an economics major, has been named to the dean's list at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, for the spring semester.
To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have completed no fewer than 12 graded credits for the semester and earned at least a 3.25 grade-point average with no grade lower than C and without any incompletes.
FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Hannah Dingley of Manchester Center, has been named to the dean's list at Fairfield University for the spring semester. She completed a minimum of 12 credi t hours with a grade point average of 3.50 or better.
St. Lawrence University
CANTON, N.Y. — The spring semester dean's list has been announced at St. Lawrence University. Ursula R. Martin of West Pawlet, a member of the class of 2020, is majoring in English and performance and communication arts. She attended the Long Trail School.
Taylor M. Scribner of Granville, is a member of the class of 2019. A history and government major, Scribner attended Granville Junior Senior High School. To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
