Riverwalk fall festival Sunday in Manchester

MANCHESTER — The Manchester Riverwalk Fall Festival will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 6 with events for the whole family.

The event is held in celebration of the fall harvest season and to thank the community for the ongoing support of the riverwalk project.

There will be potato sack and egg races, apple bobbing, cider and donuts, cheese and pie, all to the tunes of the Merry Pranksters.

The event is held at the Riverwalk's lower gateway, near Friends of the Sun, 159 Depot St. Look for the balloons. Enjoy the Riverwalk's foliage while strolling to the waterfall and check out the new sign for the turbine and learn about the area's rich history.

In case of rain, the event will be held 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20.
