Music in the Meadow

Posted by musicinthemeadowvt@gmail.com

Looking for something fun to do June 29th that also helps fight breast cancer? Then come on over to the 17th Annual Music in the Meadow concert to be held June 29 at the Motel in the Meadow, Route 11 West just outside of Chester, Vermont. The music starts at noon, acts performing until 8 p.m. The local musicians include;
Mark Shelton
Ben Fuller
The Illusion
The Imperfectionists
The John Sullivan Band
Lucky Soul Band
Intercept
Heartfire

All are donating their time and talent. Every penny raised from this music festival is going to the Susan G. Komen New England VT Race for the Cure, who's "mission is to save live by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer." We are hoping to surpass last years highest record for donations of $13,000 which takes the grand total raised in 16 years to nearly $73,000!

During the Music in the Meadow there will be lots of food for sale including Schwan selling ice-cream for the cure!
Other activities include a horseshoe tournament, corn hole tournament, a huge silent auction, games for kids, and several raffles. It’s a fun day for the whole family that not only entertains but helps find a cure to for breast cancer. Bring your lawn chair or blanket or sit under one of our shady tents. Dancing will be encouraged especially as we rock out later in the day! Come for an hour or spend the whole day! Admission by donation.
