MEMS PTO hosting Casino Night fundraiser April 6
Tickets for the event will be $50 each until April 4th when the price increases to $65 each. Tickets include $200 in casino chips, a selection of hors d'oeuvres, and live entertainment throughout the evening. A cash bar will be available.
At the end of the evening, all participants will be able to exchange their winnings for chances to win a selection of donated prizes. There will also be a 50-50 raffle.
"Last year almost 90 members of our community came out for this event and had a wonderful evening supporting the MEMS PTO, whose efforts directly affect the student population at MEMS." said Erica Dearstyne. "We are hoping we will see an even bigger turn out for our second annual event and are thankful to the many new and returning sponsors including Spiral Press Caf and The Perfect Wife who are joining us at the High Roller sponsorship level, and new sponsor Mountain Media LLC who is sponsoring at the Bankroll level."
In the past several years, the MEMS PTO has assisted in providing funding for: a cooking cart that allows children to develop kitchen skills and experience a variety of foods, a babysitting skills program, the MEMS gardening program, supporting class trips - especially for economically challenged students, Bingo Night, Harvest Festival, Spring Carnival and donations to the future playground project.
Tickets can be purchased beginning Tuesday, March 20th at the MEMS main office during school hours, at Wood Fired Pizza, at H.N. Williams or by a Casino Night committee member, including: Erica Dearstyne, Kim Johnson, Melissa Scudder, Suzanne Moore, or Dana McCloskey. For information about sponsoring the event, please contact Erica Dearstyne at email@example.com or 802-379-5534, or Suzanne Moore at firstname.lastname@example.org or 973-769-1632
