Matthew Lerman photography exhibit opens next Thursday
An author and former professor of biology, marine ecology, and oceanography, Lerman is now a full-time photographer with a strong and focused mission: to teach the viewer, through his or her visual sense, to see the myriad of intricate connections within the biosphere, and, thus, to love and protect the natural wonders of our land.
His photography attempts to portray a bit of the natural beauty in our environment, so that others may be inspired to love the land and appreciate the importance of preserving the health of our biosphere. Moreover, he loves showing the attractive side of life, making a rusty Mack Truck look cool or resurrecting a dying leaf as a beacon of everlasting beauty.
Lerman will be present to answer questions at the opening reception next Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
In addition, Lerman is also exhibiting his photography at Studio 3 (next to Ann Taylor in the Crystal Palace MDO Building) in Manchester. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. through 5 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays now through October 31. Studio 3 is a pop-up gallery exhibiting the beautiful art of several local artists.
The Gallery at Equinox Village is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 49 Maple St., Manchester. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.equinoxvillage.com.
