Trout fry were released in Munson Brook on June 1 as part of the fifth-grade Trout in the Classroom project. The project saw fifth-grade students raise the trout from eggs to fry, learning all about the biology, habitat needs, water quality and more along the way. The effort was disrupted when COVID-19 sent everybody home, but the fish were taken home by a teacher in the school where they were raised for the release. Students watched via digital conference.
