Manchester rail trail meeting planned
MANCHESTER — Engineers at work on a feasibility study for the proposed Manchester Recreation Path, which includes the old Manchester-Dorset-Granville railroad pathway, will seek local input on various alternatives for the proposed town project.
VHB, the engineering firm retained by the town, will meet with members of the public at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 340 Recreation Park Road, where the town's Parks and Recreation Department office is located.
The feasibility study, intended to lay the groundwork for obtaining grant funding for the project, is expected to consider safety, trail surface characteristics, scenic views, drainage and more.
