Do Rights and The Big Takeover headline 2nd Funk on the Farm event

MANCHESTER — The Do Rights and The Big Takeover are the headliners at the second annual Funk on the Farm festival at 5 p.m. Sunday at Earth Sky Time Farm, 1547 Main St. (Route 7A) in Manchester.

The Do Rights, an Afrobeat/R&B band from New Jersey, and The Big Takeover, a ska/rocksteady band from the Hudson Valley, both feature tight horn arrangements, soaring vocals and soul shaking rhythm sections sure to get everyone dancing.

The event will be held inside the heated barn at Earth Sky Time Community Farm. As always, their famous bread bus will be serving up wood-fired pizza and farm fresh salads and there will be local beer, wine and Ginger Libation on tap.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and farmers and free for kids.
