MANCHESTER — Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning welcomes Derek Boothby to talk about China's "Belt and Road Initiative."

The talk will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., via Zoom. It has been reported that China has a plan to replace the United States as the global superpower by 2049, and with its "Belt and Road Initiative," China is seeking to restructure the world economy and expand its global influence.
