Library to host info sessions on its FY2019 budget

MANCHESTER — The Manchester Community Library will be hosting question and answer sessions about its fiscal 2019 budget and funding request at multiple upcoming sessions.

The library will hold sessions on Monday at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.; and again on Wednesday, February 21 at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.

This year, the library is asking for $232,773 from the town to defray operating expenses. It's an increase of $10,873 from the $221,900 the voters allocated to the library last year.

Voters will decide the question in Australian ballot voting on Tuesday, March 6.
