Library offering Makers Clubs to elementary, middle school students

MANCHESTER — Beginning in October the Manchester Community Library will offer two Makers Clubs, one for kids in middle school and one for kids in grades one through four.

Middle School Makers Club will meet twice monthly at the library beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 3:30-4:30 p.m., and again on Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Our first project will be tin can robotics.

Junior Makers Club will meet once a month. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and will feature slime making.

These S.T.E.A.M.-inspired after school clubs focus on building a culture of creativity, discovery, making, and tinkering.

Pre-registration is required for these free clubs. Call the Library now at 802-362-2607 to sign up. Manchester Community Library is located at 138 Cemetery Ave.
