Letter: With gratitude and a heavy heart

To the editor:

I will be forever grateful for the loving support Talia, Louis and I, along with the entire Bistro Henry family, received from this mighty community over the last month. There is no way I could possibly thank each one of you personally, without leaving out some crucial names. From the restaurant community who made sure we had plenty of food for the reception and hands to cook Thanksgiving dinners, to the incredible friends who dropped everything to help, the generous spirit of the groups that Henry was connected to, the yoginis who made sure I kept breathing, and the loyal customers who came by to do whatever they could ... you made a horrible time less so. I am truly blessed to live in this caring place. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

But my heart is also heavy: Due to the circumstances surrounding Henry's death, Bistro Henry will be closing permanently. Our last dinner service will be January 2. Please come in for one last dinner, or cocktail, or just a hug.

It has been my honor and privilege to serve this community for over 30 years. But I'm not leaving, so if you need a hot fudge fix, a spectacular cake, or a small party, let me know. With any luck, I plan to open my own place soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

With love and blessings,

Dina Bronson
