Letter: Thank you for another successful holiday
Once again, the Interfaith Council's Holiday Project for Manchester families in need was a big success. This year, we served 82 families with baskets of food and clothing, toys and books for the children. I cannot thank the people in our wonderful town enough for their undying support of this program. Year after year, the local congregations and many other friends open their hearts, wallets and schedules to make sure our less fortunate families have a blessed holiday season. To know that children have warm clothes to carry them through the winter season is what makes this program so worthwhile each year. When we check the international news for those millions of families who are without proper housing, food and clothing due to natural or manmade disasters, we should all consider ourselves blessed to live in a community that cares for one another. Bill and I wish all of you a healthy and happy 2018 and our most sincere thanks to all our volunteers for again helping us with this wonderful project.
Much love to all,
