Letter: Library grateful for in-kind donations
To the editor:One of the ways that local businesses choose to support the Manchester Community Library is through in-kind donations of products or services. These gifts often help us to provide exceptional experiences to the community on a lean operating budget.Folks also may not know that the library offers coffee and tasty snacks (pretzels, granola bars and goldfish) for $1 and home-made fruity muffins for $2, in the Cafe Commons. Two notable businesses we are very grateful to are Mother Myrick's Confectionery and Charlie's Coffeehouse. We would like to thank Jacki Baker, Ron Mancini and Bill Drunsic for their generous donations of delicious home-made muffins and freshly brewed coffee. We could not offer this convenience to library patrons without them. Please be sure to stop by Mother Myrick's and Charlie's Coffeehouse in town to check out all that they have to offer and show your support of local businesses who support their local public library. If you'd like to donate to the library in this way, or to make a monetary gift, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 802-549-4579.Check out all that the library has to offer. If you'd like to know about membership or information on our programs and services for people of all ages, check out our website: mclvt.org; or call: 802-362-2607.Manchester Community Library is open to all as an inspiring gathering place for the community, providing opportunities and resources for personal enrichment and growth.Betsy BleakieDirector of PhilanthropyManchester Community Library
