Letter: Comollos overwhelmed by town's kindness
To the editor:We're back!Clarke and Barbara Comollo here, letting you know that we have moved back into our lovely home, right after Christmas. After nine months, our house is (mostly) done. It is so nice to be home. But we have so many people to thank. This community lent a helping hand and a shoulder to lean on when we needed it. We were overwhelmed by the kindness. From a little friend who gave us catnip for our little kitty girls, to the many who gave a helping hand by giving us clothes. We really needed help financially, as everyone does in extreme situations, no matter what insurance can do and this town stepped up. Our sister Kerry was the driving force behind getting us back on track. Believe us, it takes a lot to get people going again. I have learned a lot from this episode of our lives and the thought is ... Do unto others as you would have done unto you.Thank you all.Barbara and Clarke Comollo
