Letter: Church offers gratitude for 25 years
To the Editor:
Zion Episcopal Church & St. John's Chapel wish to acknowledge and celebrate the devotion and service of its Rector, Father John S. Mitchell, for the past 25 years.
Rev. Mitchell has been a well-known spiritual leader and friend to the greater Manchester community. He has helped to establish several community outreach programs and has opened the doors to Zion Church to numerous local non-profit and cultural organizations. He has also made Zion a venue for world-class Christian speakers and events, including healing services and retreats and presided over one of the fastest growing Episcopal parishes in the U.S. for many years.
With gratitude and heartfelt thanks from families and members of the parish and the community during his ministry in Manchester, we wish John and Jane every good fortune and time for reflection in the years ahead as they settle into their new home in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Cards of good wishes and thanks can be sent to John Mitchell, 372 Canterbury Road, Manchester Center, VT 05255.
