GNAT-TV, credit union create show about money
MANCHESTER — Greater Northshire Access Television and Heritage Family Credit Union have partnered on a new video production, "Your Money Minute."
The series features financial management tips and tools in short segments. Topics include how to save early and often, how to check your credit and how to create a financial calendar.
The series will air on GNAT-TV cable channels, online at gnat-tv.org and will be widely shared on GNAT-TV's social media platforms.
"Working with experts at Heritage Family Credit Union to produce financial education content is great partnership," Tammy Reilly, GNAT-TV's executive director, said. "Together, we are providing valuable information in an interesting way and delivering it on a platform that people use."
Mark Grossarth, Heritage Family's assistant vice president of community development, said financial literacy is important toward helping people of all backgrounds live happy and successful lives and fulfill their goals.
"Hopefully, GNAT-TV viewers will find our financial 'quick bites' informative and inspiring," Grossarth said.
GNAT-TV is one of 25 community media centers in the state that broadcasts educational and government content created by and for the community. It serves the southern Vermont towns of Arlington, Dorset, Manchester, Peru, Sunderland and Winhall (Channels 15, 16, 17); Londonderry and Weston (Channels 8 and 10); and Stratton (Channels 8, 10, 18).
