Gallery Six to hold opening gala

MANCHESTER — Gallery Six, which opened on July 1, will hold its gala opening reception from 5-7 p.m. on July 13.

Located at 4542 Main St., in the former Ugg building, Gallery Six displays the works of six artists: oil painter Marilyn Cavallari (large contemporary landscape paintings with lots of color), Irene Cole (acrylics on wood with abstract designs), Stephen Dankner (digital photography with landscpes and cityscapes that are primarily black and white), Kate Franklin (large oil paintings of colorful flower gardens, ocean scenes and a few smaller landscapes), Bob Lafond (works in oils, acrylics and pastels producing landscapes, boats, trucks and flowers), and Mallory Rich (oils and pastels of landscapes, flowers and a sheep portrait).

Gallery Six is open Tuesday through Friday from 1-6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The opening reception is open to the public.
