French students excel in national competition

MANCHESTER — Students at Burr and Burton Academy performed well at the National French test under difficult circumstances.

While half the country took the test under normal circumstances in school, BBA students were among the half who were forced to take the test online at home with French teacher Michelle Emery proctoring via Zoom.

Emery said a smaller-than-normal group of students at BBA took the test this year making it impressive that as many earned national honors.
