MANCHESTER — Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning is thrilled to continue its yearlong "Women '20-'20" celebration by hosting a conversation between "Afterlife" author Julia Alvarez and Northshire Bookstore's Barbara Morrow. The program will take place via Zoom from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 30.

Morrow, co-founder of the Northshire Bookstore will sit down with Alvarez to discuss the book and how women can triumph through the struggles of life in transition.

"Afterlife" is Julia Alvarez's first adult novel in 14 years. This novel is also relevant to these times when immigration is an important issue and human empathy is more crucial than ever.

Registration is required for this event and costs $10. For more information or to register, visit greenmtnacademy.org.
