This workshop is for those wanting to learn more about how to tighten up their house and about the latest in heating technologies. There are many opportunities for savings, even for relatively modern homes, as many advancements in building science and technology have happened in the last 10 years. The presentation by Efficiency Vermont staff will include information about the latest incentives available including a new weatherization incentive of up to $4,000 for households making $90,000 or less. The workshop will cover weatherization, efficient heating systems, smart thermostats, new incentives and financing, and more. There will also be ample opportunity for questions and answers at the end of the presentation.

This workshop is being organized by the Dorset Tomorrow Energy Task Force in collaboration with Efficiency Vermont. Dorset Tomorrow is a community-driven process with local leaders, the Vermont Council on Rural Development, and Efficiency Vermont, coming together to cultivate economic development, innovation and affordability in the face of climate change. It is part of the Vermont Council on Rural Developmentā€™s Climate Economy Model Communities Program.
