BVHC hosts dental open house

ARLINGTON — Battenkill Valley Health Center's Dental Practice invites the community to a free Open House at 9 Church Street in Arlington on Nov. 21 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

"We are glad to be part of the Arlington community, and we want our families to feel comfortable and cared for at our practice," said Chief Dental Officer Dr. Stephen Phillips. "We are excited to meet more friends and families at our Open House; everyone is invited."

This is a free event to all attendees. The celebration will include kid-friendly, fun activities. All visitors will have a chance to take a tour of the practice and meet members of the dental team. Additionally, light refreshments will be served.

Committed to providing quality dental care to patients of all ages, Battenkill Valley Health Center offers a wide array of dental services including full oral examinations, cleanings, fillings, x-rays, whitening, and more.

"We also want to remind folks to maximize their dental benefits. As the calendar year-end approaches, we encourage you to take advantage of your remaining dental insurance benefits," Dr. Phillips explained. "In most cases, the yearly maximum renews each year on January 1 st and these benefits do not roll over to the next year."

New and existing patients can schedule an appointment today by calling (802) 430-7175.

Battenkill Valley Health Center's Dental Practice opened in May 2017. In addition to dental services, BVHC, which opened its doors in February 2014 as the first federally qualified health center in Bennington County, offers primary and preventive medical care, mental health counseling, nutritional counseling, and nurse case management.

BVHC sees patients of all ages, representing 28 towns in Vermont and New York. Most commercial insurances, Medicare, and Vermont Medicaid are accepted.
