Norfolk Chamber Music Festival

Posted by

Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn were close siblings who were both supremely talented in music. While Fanny’s Piano Trio in d minor was finished in 1847 and only published after her death, Felix’s exuberant Octet for Strings was written at the tender age of 16 — and is one of the treasures of the chamber music repertoire. Also on the program is Felix's Piano Trio in d minor.

Come early and picnic on the grounds. Pre-concert conversation with Yale professor Paul Berry begins at 7.
