ARLINGTON — The Eagles girl soccer team topped Poultney 5-2 on Monday. 

Arlington put together their best game of the season so far, according to coach Kirk Robinson. 

Eighth grader Taylor Wilkins led the way offensively, scoring two goals. 

Fellow eighth grader ​Magnolia Robinson also scored a goal, as well as assisting on another.

​Sid Herrington and Audrey Robinson were responsible for the other two Arlington goals. Audrey Robinson also added an assist. 

The Arlington defense performed well. Audrianna Ennis had a strong game protecting the net, with multiple saves. 

Arlington girls soccer lost a road game to Proctor on Sept. 30 7-0.

Arlington only had one substitute player as the team is dealing with injuries early on in the season.

The Eagles were led by Audrianna Ennis, Sarah Tilley, Emma Hoover and Maria O'Dea versus Proctor.

Arlington were scheduled to play a road game at Twin Valley on Wednesday.
