Bates College

LEWISTON, Maine — Pippin Evarts of Landgrove, graduated after majoring in English at Bates College. Evarts, the child of Jeremiah M. Evarts and Kara C. Evarts of Londonderry, is a 2016 graduate of Stratton Mountain School. Evarts was inducted into the Bates Scholar-Athlete Society, an organization that honors graduating seniors who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or have received special nomination from the faculty for outstanding academic achievement in their junior and senior years, and who have participated in a varsity sport for a minimum of three years.

Roger Williams University

BRISTOL, R.I. — Scott Trudel of Manchester graduated from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor of Science degree in public health in May as part of the Class of 2020.

St. Lawrence University

CANTON, N.Y. — Remi LeBlanc of Salem, and Ursula Martin of West Pawlet graduated in May from St. Lawrence University. An in-person Class of 2020 commencement ceremony is planned for August 2021.

University of Kansas

LAWRENCE — Chelsea Quinn Linvill of Dorset, earned a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and Kelly Elizabeth Hutt Vater of Shrewsbury, a Master of Science degree in Education from the University of Kansas. Many spring and summer 2020 graduates celebrated their accomplishments as part of the virtual 2020 Commencement. The university also plans to hold an in-person Commencement event in May 2021 for the Class of 2020.

Rochester Institute of Technology

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The following local residents have been named to the dean’s list at Rochester Institute of Technology for the 2020 fall semester. Undergraduate students are eligible for the dean’s list if their grade point average is greater than or equal to 3.40. Students are Brendan Van Ommen Kloeke of Danby, electrical engineering program; Cole Boggan of Cambridge, game design and development program; Xavier Dufour of Granville, mechanical engineering technology program, and Nate Williams of Manchester, computing and information technologies program.

Nazareth College

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Cassandra Bovie of Cambridge, N.Y., has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Nazareth College. A student’s grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and they must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester in order to be included on the dean’s list.

Siena College

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. — Carson McLenithan of Cambridge, was named to the Siena College president’s list for the fall 2020 semester. The president’s list requires a 3.9-grade point average or higher.

Ithaca College

ITHACA, N.Y. — Lyle Caban from Cambridge, N.Y., was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2020 semester.

Saint Michael’s College

COLCHESTER — The following students were named to the dean’s list at Saint Michael’s College for the fall 2020 semester: Enzo Li, a junior history / political science major, and Ryan Rogge, a sophomore pre-pharmacy major, both from Bennington, and Emmalene Gabriel, a senior psychology major from North Bennington. All are graduates of Mount Anthony Union High School. Also, Sophia Stauss, a freshman psychology major from Manchester Center and a graduate of Burr and Burton Academy.

Quinnipiac University

HAMDEN, Conn. — Jessica Grabher of Manchester Center, Vt., has been named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at Quinnipiac University. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C.

Endicott College

BEVERLY, Mass. — Kaley Brown of Arlington, Vt., a digital media major, and Bryn Tufts of Manchester Center, a hotel management major, have both been named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at Endicott College. In order to qualify for the dean’s list, a student must obtain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and receive no letter grade below C.

Holy Cross

WORCESTER — The following local students were named to the College of the Holy Cross dean’s list for the 2020-21 semester: Chloe Burkett of Wallingford, a senior psychology major, and Evan Crumb of Cambridge, a senior history major. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

MCPHS University

BOSTON, Mass. — Bridget Egbert has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at MCPHS University. A native of Manchester Center, she is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences. The dean’s list recognizes students with a full-time course load and a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic term.

St. Lawrence University

CANTON, N.Y. — Ursula R. Martin has been named to the St. Lawrence University dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester. Martin is a member of the class of 2020 and is majoring in English and performance and communication arts. Martin attended the Long Trail School. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 for the semester.

SUNY Morrisville

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. — The spring 2020 dean’s list has been announced at SUNY Morrisville. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must achieve a 3.0 to 3.99 grade-point average for the semester and complete 12 credit hours. Students are Danielle Aubrey of Granville, and James Morrison of Shushan.

Berea College

BEREA, KY — Hamilton Craig, a resident of Shushan, N.Y., has been named to the fall 2020 dean’s list at Berea College. A student is named to the dean’s list who achieves a grade point average of 3.4 or higher while passing at least four total credits, a course load equivalent to 16 semester hours.

Plymouth State University

PLYMOUTH, N.H. — Jessica Bradley of Pawlet, Vt., a psychology major, has been named to the Plymouth State University president’s list for the fall 2020 semester. To be named to the president’s list, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.

Nazareth College

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Cassandra Bovie of Cambridge, N.Y., has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2020 semester at Nazareth College. A student’s grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and they must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester in order to be included on the dean’s list.

Clarkson University

POTSDAM, NY. — Ford Mathew Smith of Granville, N.Y., a freshman majoring in business studies, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2020 semester at Clarkson University. Dean’s list students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.
