MANCHESTER — The Community Food Cupboard is preparing to provide Thanksgiving groceries to hundreds of local families throughout the Northshire.

Help is sought to ensure that everyone in the community can have a holiday meal.

A gift of funds will help to purchase turkeys and fresh produce. Gift cards to our local supermarkets will help families purchase other necessities.

Donations of holiday essentials like stuffing mix, flour, sugar, canned pumpkin, cranberry sauce, and chicken broth are especially helpful at this time of year.

Non-perishable items can be brought to town hall or left in the collection bin at Shaw’s.

Monetary donations may be made on the Facebook page or website, communityfoodcupboard.org; or mailed to CFC, P.O. Box 864, Manchester Center, Vt., 05255. Information: 362-0057.
