MANCHESTER CENTER — A drive-through Purim CARnival will take place in Israel Congregation’s parking lot at 6025 Main St., on Thursday, Feb. 25, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Meet the characters from the Book of Esther, enjoy engaging activities and bring home tasty hamantashen treats. Everyone is asked to keep their masks on and children will participate from a safe distance. As part of the tradition of giving to others during Purim, a collection will take place for non-perishable food items to be donated to Manchester’s Community Food Cupboard. Each family member is asked to bring an item to donate to those in need. This event is open to the community and free to all. Registration is required.

To ensure that no one waits in long lines, signup times are staggered. Sign up via by Feb. 22.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be postponed to Sunday, Feb. 28, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Funding for this event has been provided by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.
