The Dorset Players will hold auditions for its holiday show, Little Women, on Oct. 20-21 at 6:30 p.m. in the rehearsal hall at the Dorset Playhouse.

Directed by Janet Groom, this adaptation is by Marisha Chamberlain, based on the Louisa May Alcott novel.

This coming of age story chronicles the lives of the four March sisters during the 19th century. Female roles to be cast include: the four sisters (teens-early 20s), housekeeper (50s), mother (40s) and Aunt March (60s). Male roles are Mr. Laurence (60s), his grandson (late teens to 20s) the tutor (20s-30s) and the father (40s).
