On Christmas Eve a live Nativity brightened a dark, wet night in Dorset. Remaining in their COVID-safe bubble, viewers drove along the circular driveway of the former Dorset Colony House and tuned their radios to 88.5 FM to hear Rev. Jim Gray of the United Church of Dorset and East Rupert tell the story of the first nativity and the history of the song “Silent Night.”
Michelle and Eric Emery played the shepherds; Laura and Bryan Emery played Mary and Joseph, and en and Eli Norman provided the donkeys. Clifford White built the stable for the church.
