MANCHESTER — In honor of Very Hungry Caterpillar Month, Northshire Bookstore is hosting a special reading with the Very Hungry Caterpillar themself on March 18 at 1 p.m.
There will be a special readaloud of Eric Carle’s classic story featuring a character costume meet-and-greet, interactive activities such as printouts and an in-store scavenger hunt and more. The event is part of a Very Hungry Caterpillar Costume Tour from The World of Eric Carle.
With its vivid colors and innovative hole-punched pages, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” teaches lessons in counting, the days of the week, the process of metamorphosis and the importance of choosing foods wisely.
