MANCHESTER — Ellenbogen Gallery will reopen to the public Friday, July 3.

Gallery Hours will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The first exhibition is "Pairings and Clusters," featuring non-figurative artworks organized to provide both visual and emotional cues that help viewers see possibilities.

"We are looking forward to sharing art with others again, in person versus email, website and Facebook Live," said gallery owners Carolina and Michael Ellenbogen. "Using color, shape, line, texture and composition as components of the language of visual art, it will be easy for visitors to see how art can work together with other art, objects or architectural elements that may already be in their home or office."

Later in the month, on July 25, the gallery will open "Metal & Rust, The Ashes of Time and Memory," a solo show with Katrin Waite. There is an opening planned for 1 to 5 p.m. that Saturday.During the COVID-19 lockdown, Ellenbogen Gallery enhanced the Manchester Shopping Center with a 48' ArtWall that was visible through the windowed storefront and has been developing a new e-Commerce website.

"Having participated in a few-too-many Zoom conference calls, we would like to point out the benefits of adding art to anyone's Zoom-setting," the Ellenbogens said. "We can help you capture the right tone by pairing small and medium sized artworks that create an effective background."

The Ellenbogens said they will open the gallery the safest way possible. The owners will wear masks and maintain at least a 6-foot distance from guests and request the same from visitors. The Ellenbogen Gallery is located at 263 Depot St. Find them online at, and on Facebook and Instagram at
