The operator, Kenneth Schomber was traveling south when he attempted to negotiate a curve. The tractor trailer went off the right side of the road and overturned onto its side. The operator was not injured. The bags of talc powder had to be manually removed from the trailer and reloaded onto the pallets. A tractor then loaded the pallets onto a separate tractor trailer. Large wreckers were used to upright the tractor trailer and tow it away.
One lane of Route 100 was closed for approx. 6 hours during the operation. The operator was issued a ticket for traveling too fast for conditions. A commercial motor vehicle inspection will be conducted by DMV to investigate any potential violations.
No further court action is plamnned, according to the state police report.
