WESTON - The Orton brothers, Cabot, Gardner, & Eliot, 3rd generation proprietors of The Vermont Country Store, announced today that Chris Vickers has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer. A veteran of the multi-channel retail business, Vickers joined the company in 2010 as Chief Merchandising & Marketing Officer. Previously, Vickers served as Vice President of Merchandising at L.L. Bean, Inc. Chris holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Colby College.
