Zion Church to hold Alpha course

MANCHESTER - The Alpha Course is returning to Zion Episcopal Church in Manchester.

This course gives an opportunity to explore the meaning of life.

The Intro Dinner will be March 28 during the Lamb Supper at 5:30 p.m.

The actual course will begin April 5 and continue on Fridays from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

On an Alpha course, guests explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions and a weekend or day away. Each week guests enjoy a meal and a talk on subjects as diverse as "Who is Jesus?" "How Can I Have Faith?" and "How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?"

No question is out of bounds, and participants are free to say as much or as little as they wish as they make up their own minds about the teachings of Jesus.

The Alpha course is free and open to everyone.
