Youth theater offered at LTS

DORSET >> Long Trail School has announced Long Trail Youth Theater (LTYT), a new theater after school and weekend program for children in grade 4 through 12. LTS welcomes Director Rachel Seebode who currently runs Broadway Upstate, a community theatre group that produces professional level musical theatre productions for the Adirondack community to both perform and experience. She comes to LTS with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Dance.

LTYT is ready to launch its first production — "Annie Jr." Seebode will be offering an informational evening for parents and kids on Monday, May 2 at Long Trail School at 5:30 p.m. Auditions for "Annie Jr." will be on Monday, May 16 from 6-8 p.m. and Callbacks/Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday, May 17 from 6-8 p.m. Performances will be on June 24-26.
