Yom Kippur services planned

MANCHESTER - Israel Congregation of Manchester, greater Manchester's community synagogue, welcomes all who wish to worship with us for Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement, beginning Tuesday evening, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m., with services continuing Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 9 a.m.

"Yom Kippur is a contemplative day of the year, offering us the chance to think about our lives," said Rabbi David Novak, the spiritual leader of the congregation. Rabbi Novak again welcomes Cantor Lindsay Kopecky whose voice and presence is a now cherished part of the ICM worship experience. Judith and Ariel Rudiakov will play the Bruch "Kol Nidre" concerto at the beginning of the evening.

Arrangements for coming to ICM for Yom Kippur may be made by calling synagogue administrator Karen Dreiblatt at 362-4578.
