Winhall Memorial Public Library to hold picnic

WINHALL - The Winhall Memorial Library will hold it's annual Friend-Raiser Picnic on Sunday, Aug. 10, from 4-6 p.m. on the library grounds.

Dusty Pilgrims will be performing live music and there will also be face painting for children done by Carrie Matthews. In addition to free hot dogs and chips, there will also be an ice cream truck.

This year's event will honor and pay tribute to Fran Rosenthal who, along with the assistance of her husband Peter, led the library in its formative years. Her attention to building the book collection and her music programs made the library the community center it is today.

The event will be held rain or shine.

The library's located at the intersection of Route 30 and Upper Taylor Hill Road.
