Wildlife workshop with Dr. Alcott Smith

MANCHESTER - Dartmouth professor, veterinarian and master ecologist Dr. Alcott Smith will lead a day-long workshop on the slopes of the Mt. Equinox, teaching participants how to interpret the subtle signs animals leave behind on their daily routine.

The workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 9. This workshop will be outdoors all day and will require strenuous, off-trail travel.

Registration is required for this workshop, and class size is limited to 15. Participants should be 12-years-old or older. Please overdress as time will be spent observing and discussing signs. No dogs are allowed on this workshop. This workshop is co-sponsored by the New England Forestry Foundation and The Mountain Goat.
