'White Elephant' sale planned by St. James Church

ARLINGTON - St. James' Episcopal Church in Arlington will hold its Annual White Elephant and Rummage Sale on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be lots of great finds in "white elephants" and gently-used clothing and accessories.

A "Bag Sale" will begin at 1:30 p.m. Light luncheon fare will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the sale will go to support St. James' community outreach programs.

Established in 1764, St. James is the cradle parish of the Episcopal Church in Vermont. The present church building was consecrated in 1833, built after an earlier one was destroyed by fire.

Sunday worship is at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. All worship opportunities are child friendly. Everyone is welcome to attend.
