Weston man involved in motorcycle accident

WESTON -- A 20 year-old Weston man sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle accident Saturday, Sept. 15, requiring transportation by helicopter to Dartmouth - Hitchock Hospital.

According to the Vermont State Police, shortly after 7 p.m., an emergency 911 call was received concerning a motor vehicle crash on route 100 in Weston. Vermont State Police, Weston Volunteer Fire Department and Londonderry Volunteer Rescue responded to the scene.

Drew Simmons, 20, received serious bodily injury and was transported via helicopter to Dartmouth Hitchcock Memorial Hospital. A Ducati motorcyle was totally destroyed, according to the police report.

This case is still under investigation.
