Welsh Presbyterian Church offers weekly evening worship

Posted

POULTNEY >> Benita Mead, Clerk of Session at Welsh Presbyterian Church in Poultney, has announced that Welsh Presbyterian Church offers a weekly Sunday evening service in addition to its traditional Sunday morning service. She further said that the evening service is an informal service of worship, singing, and interaction through a weekly study of different subjects of the Christian lifestyle based on Biblical teaching.

The Sunday evening service, which is led by the Rev. Lee Smith, is at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. It is a time of fellowship, hymns by request, a brief message and a chance to have an open discussion of the Bible lesson, a time of prayer and praise, and a closing hymn.

Bring the children. This is intended to be a family evening event. All are welcome.

Welsh Presbyterian Church is located on Grove Street (Route 30) in the Village of Poultney. Its Sunday morning service is held at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. Services in Welsh Presbyterian Church Poultney are spoken in the English language.
