Watercolor exhibit at Canfield

ARLINGTON - Tony Conner will be exhibiting a collection of watercolor paintings inspired by the Vermont landscape and all of its seasons at the Canfield Gallery.

Connor's watercolor works are recognized for their depiction of the quality of light and expressive use of color. Expressing the rural landscape of Vermont and New England has been the focus of most of his professional watercolor work with recent work featuring a diverse mixture of subjects including the rural landscape, view from the garden florals, as well as that of his new-old favorite, the seascape. He is a signature member of the New England Watercolor Society, a juried exhibiting member of the North Adams Artists Cooperative, and a member of the Vermont Watercolor Society and the American Society of Architectural Illustrators.

Tony's paintings will be on exhibit starting on Oct. 4, and will continue through the end of the month. The Canfield Gallery is located at the Martha Canfield Library, 528 E. Arlington Road. For more information, contact the Canfield Library at (802) 375-6153 or the artist at 802-375-5548.
