VSO brass quintet and counterpoint to perform


MANCHESTER >> The Vermont Symphony Orchestra's Brass Quintet and Counterpoint Holiday Concert will ring in the season in Manchester on Sunday, Dec. 20, beginning at 4 p.m. The concert will be presented at the First Congregational Church in Manchester.

The VSO Holiday Brass Quintet and Counterpoint concert, combining shining brass and brilliant voices, continues the celebration of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra's Holiday Season. Counterpoint's director, Nathaniel G. Lew, collaborates with the VSO Brass Quintet offering a festive program. The performances include arrangements of "How Brightly Shines the Morning Star," "O Holy Night," and "The Twelve Days of Christmas." Traditional favorites, a singalong, and a student composition round out the program.
