Vocal improv workshop offered

LONDONDERRY >> Discover your unique voice during this three-part vocal improvisation workshop which is open to anyone who enjoys singing. No or little experience is necessary.

Bidi Dworkin, a jazz singer and yoga teacher, will be at Neighborhood Connections on Monday, Jan. 25, Thursday, Jan. 28 and Monday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. to lead the group for an hour and a half of interactive singing. "Vocal improvisation is fun, creative, musical and often transformative," says Dworkin. "It creates a bridge to self-expression, communication and community building."

Each session begins with gentle stretching to tune the body and awaken the breath, so participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing. Space is limited, so please call 824-4343 to make a reservation.
