VNA & Hospice to offer adult grief support

BENNINGTON - VNA & Hospice of SVHC will be offering free adult grief support meetings in Bennington, beginning on Aug. 27. This group is for adults who are grieving the loss of a loved one and will be held on Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. in the Crispe Room of the Vermont Veterans Home, 325 North St.

Grief after a loss is a normal reaction that takes patience and energy to endure. Going through the grieving process is a different experience for everyone. Grief affects each of us in various ways and at different times.

Come together with others who are grieving to share experiences, learn about the stages of grief, and discover new ways to cope with the difficult emotions of bereavement.

All adult community members are welcome. Children and teen grief support is also available from the VNA & Hospice of SVHC. Call Mary Pleasant, bereavement coordinator, at 802-442-5502 to find out more.
