Veterans' Council of Vermont Veterans' Home donates to children's hospital

BENNINGTON >> Recently the Veteran's Council of the Vermont Veterans' Home elected to provide a sizeable donation to support the University of Vermont Children's Hospital.

A letter from the UVM Medical Center Foundation expressed their gratitude, emphasizing "with your support, together we will continue to provide extraordinary patient care, teach our clinicians of tomorrow and discover new ways to heal."

Veterans residing in the Vermont Veterans' Home have fought in WW II, Korean War, Vietnam War, the Cold War, Desert Storm, and Iraq. These heroes have given much to support the security and freedom of our great nation, yet these champions continue to serve and protect those who need it most; our children.

We are very proud to serve those who reside at the Vermont Veterans' Home.
